For those that don’t know the area, the California Mid-State Fair is an annual occurrence here in Paso Robles.
Last year, the event had to be cancelled owing to COVID-19, but it’s back on for 2021 and we couldn’t be more excited.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of this beloved event and the organizers are celebrating with 12 days of activities and concerts.
Kicking off July 21st and lasting until August 1st, the California Mid-State Fair is set to feature live concerts at three different Paso Robles venues, livestock and other animal shows on the fairgrounds, and tons of fascinating exhibits, such as Fine Arts, Photography, Home Arts, Horticulture, Floriculture, and Industrial Education.
The main attraction will certainly be the concerts. The three venues where locals and visitors alike can hear live music this year are Mission Square, Frontier Stage, and of course, the Bud Light Seltzer Concert Series. All three venues are outdoors, with the Bud Light Seltzer Concert Series typically attracting the largest crowds.
This year’s lineup for the California Mid-State Fair includes the likes of Bret Michaels (who has the honour of kicking things off on July 21st), Little Big Town, Uncle Kracker, Big & Rich, and Jason Derulo, who is slated to close the fair on August 1st.
You also won’t want to miss the various livestock shows taking place throughout the fair. We recommend checking out the following shows; a rabbit show happening July 23rd, a dog show on the 24th, and the Farm Supply Junior Livestock Quiz Jam on the 25th.
The bulk of the event will take place at the Paso Robles Event Centre, and tickets are available online only. Be sure to purchase yours in advance of the big event!
