Paso Robles is known for its incredible wine, which is why we couldn’t be more excited that the Paso Robles Wine Festival is back this May!

Taking place over four days between May 20th and May 23rd, 2021 marks the 38th year of this annual Paso Robles tradition.

This year’s wine festival will follow a similar schedule to previous years’, but with COVID-19 restrictions in place.

For example, the 38th annual Paso Robles Wine Festival will include wine tastings, winemakers dinners, excursions, live music, and more.

Unlike past years, wine tastings will not take place in the park downtown, but rather at individual wineries in the area.

The event will kick off on Thursday, May 20 with winemakers dinners, taking place at various downtown restaurants, such as Thomas Hill Organics and The Hatch. Tickets for the opening night winemakers dinners are on sale now.

Day two of the festival, May 21st, will be all about exclusive excursions (a new addition to the festival this year). According to the official website, excursions will be “a blend of Paso’s most unforgettable personalities, imaginative wines, and unique outings created for the wine adventurer.” Prices for the excursions range from $45 to $55 and include the likes of an Estate Vintners & Vines Tour, a Make Your Own Boutique Body Scrub activity, and a Plein Air Painting course in downtown Paso Robles.

Finally, on Saturday, May 22nd and Sunday, May 23rd the focus will be on Paso Robles’ incredible wineries. Participating wineries will be offering barrel tastings, live music, and artisanal food pairings. A list of participants can be found here, and includes ONX Wines, Eberle Winery, Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery, Grey Wolf Cellars and Barton Family Wines, JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery, Barr Estate Winery, and Riverstar Vineyards.

Tickets and details on each winery’s event is available online. Be sure to check their website first, as start times and prices vary.
