Just because winter is setting in, doesn’t mean the fun stops in Paso Robles. This California city has several exciting events and attractions in November, ranging from the reopening of a beloved diner to the city’s first holiday activities of the season. Keep reading to discover what’s happening in Paso Robles this November.

Re-Opening of Margie’s Diner

Margie’s Diner, a Paso Robles institution, is finally re-opening. The announcement came on November 1, and although the opening date is still TBD, we couldn’t be more excited! The diner is located right next to the Best Western Black Oak, which makes it a popular spot among our guests. But beyond that, Margie’s is beloved by the locals for its unpretentious setting, friendly staff, and delicious grub. They offer all day breakfast including omelettes and biscuits and gravy, sandwiches, and the best burgers in the world (though we might be a little biased).

Turkey Trot & Jump at Paso Robles Horse Park

Paso Robles Horse Park is hosting a special Thanksgiving event this year, the Turkey Trot & Jump. This family-friendly event features a team of amateur horseback riders participating in what is sure to be a fun show. The Turkey Trot & Jump is taking place at Paso Robles Horse Park from November 19 until November 22.

Holiday Lighting Ceremony

Each year, Paso Robles hosts a holiday lighting ceremony, and this year is no different. Hosted by the Downtown Paso Robles Main Street Association at Paso Robles Downtown City Park, this free holiday event will see the city’s huge holiday tree being lit up for the first time. The lighting ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm on November 27 (Black Friday) and will last approximately one hour. From the ceremony on, the tree will be lit in Paso Robles’ downtown core every night until Christmas.

If you plan on visiting Paso Robles this November, then you’ll want to reserve a room at the Best Western Plus Black Oak. We offer quality accommodation, a convenient location, and some of the best amenities of any hotel in the area.
