Now that the pandemic is under control, several wineries in the Paso Robles region are hosting some exciting summer events. From a black-tie casino night to an evening of gourmet food and wine under the stars, check out the top 3 winery events happening in Paso Robles this August.
Paso Robles’ own Cass Winery is back with another event this month. Cleverly titled Cass-Ino Night, the event is a swanky black-tie optional soirée set to take place on August 21st from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Cass-Ino Night will be held at Cass Winery, which will be transformed into a Monte Carlo casino. There will be dancing, wine (of course), delicious hors d'oeuvres, and live jazz music courtesy of Casey Biggs & the Paso Wine Man Band. Tickets cost $140 per person and include $200 in-game chips, unlimited beer and wine, live music and dancing, the chance to win raffle prizes, and food.
Head to Cypher Winery on August 13th for a special Oysters and Ethereal White Wine event. Taking place from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, Oysters and Ethereal White Wine at Cypher Winery is a way to celebrate summer. Enjoy a chilled glass of Ethereal White Rhone Blend or Evanescence Rosé paired with seasonal oysters on the half shell. Cypher Winery will also be serving up other small plates, like spicy chicken and cauliflower wings, marinated seaweed salad, and crab cakes with chipotle aioli. Enjoy this rare chance to dine al fresco at one of Paso Robles’ most beloved wineries.
Summerwood Winery & Inn is hosting a winemakers dinner this August, scheduled for August 21st from 6:00 pm until 9:30 pm. The event is called Summer Sentio Under the Stars Dinner and is a celebration of the winery’s annual Sentio wine (their Bordeaux blend). All are invited to sip Sentio under the starlit sky, listen to live music, and enjoy endless vineyard views, all from the winery’s back lawn. Even better, Chef Charlie Paladin is preparing a multi-course dinner to be served with different vintages of Sentio.
If you’re visiting Paso Robles this August, then you should definitely check out the can’t-miss winery events above. And if you need a place to stay during your visit, we’d love to host you at the Best Western Plus Black Oak.
