The New Year is finally here. Paso Robles is buzzing with excitement, ready to take on the coming year for a new set of adventures. Rest assured, Paso Robles will never run out of wine, and here are three great events (all with wine) that will give you a wonderful start to the New Year!
As the month of January settles in, the chill of winter is at full force! Since January is National Soup Month, why not warm up with a steaming hot and delicious bowl? Souper Weekend is being hosted at Sextant Wines located at 2324 HWY 46 west Paso Robles, on January 18th and 19th from 10 am - 5 pm. They will be serving their famous Poblano and White Cheddar Soup and pairing it with their 2017 Reserve Chardonnay, Santa Lucia Highlands. Pairing is included with all tasting samples.
Have you always wanted to learn the art of painting? Or is it your passion that you simply love to indulge in? How about pairing painting and another of life's simple luxuries, savoring a fine wine? The Spring Peonies Painting event is the place to be! The workshop features professional lead artist Amy Beeman of ArtSocial 805 providing guidance and instructions to paint perfect peonies. You will be creating your masterpiece while sipping on a divine glass of wine! The cost is $36 for members of the Penman Springs Wine Club and $45 for non-members. Tickets include one glass of wine, all supplies such as canvases, paint, brushes, and aprons. Unleash the Vincent van Gogh in you on January 12th at 1 pm. Please provide 24 hours notice if you need to cancel.
The annual Espirit Du Vin, "spirit of Wine" is back for its19th year, with all the wineries of 46 East joining in for an elegant wine and cheese pairing event. With culinary delights, live entertainment, and a wine-loving crowd, you won't want to be anywhere else! Each participating winery will feature their best wines paired with sublime gourmet cheeses. This glamorous event will be held on January 18th from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, at the beautiful Riboli Family of San Antonio Winery Event Center. Tickets are $40.00 for general admission and $50.00 for VIP. Along with live music from local artists, gourmet appetizers and desserts, there will also be raffle prize giveaways, including 46 East merchandise, discount coupons, free night stays courtesy of 46 East Lodging partners, and much more!
