The 13th Annual Wine 4 Paws event is taking place in Paso Robles this weekend, and you don’t want to miss it!
Taking place over the course of two days, April 10 and 11, Wine 4 Paws is an event hosted by the Woods Humane Society. How it works is the Woods Humane Society partners with various wineries in the area and the businesses agree to donate a percentage of their sales earned over the two days of the event to the organization.
In essence, anyone who enjoys a wine tasting or even buys a bottle of wine from any one of the participating wineries will be indirectly supporting the Woods Humane Society this weekend.
The slogan for the event is “helping homeless pets, one glass at a time,” which we think is pretty perfect.
Tickets are not needed to participate in this annual event. All you need to do is patronize any of the 50 Paso Robles businesses involved in Wine 4 Paws on April 10 or 11.
Participating wineries include Ancient Peaks Winery, Victor Hugo Vineyards & Winery, Vargas, Robert Hall Winery, Moonstone Cellars, Jeffry’s Wine Country BBQ, Graveyard Vineyards, and Four Sisters Ranch, to name a few.
In addition, if you aren’t comfortable visiting a winery in person due to COVID-19, even ordering a bottle of wine online from the participating businesses counts! Plus, the Woods Humane Society claims that participating wineries will have special deals and shipping rates all weekend long.
Visit the Wine 4 Paws website to see the full list of participating wineries. From there, you can click on any winery to bring you to their specific website, where you can make a reservation for a tasting or order a bottle of wine for delivery.
